A friend recommended this but it didn't do much for me, it didn't relieve or help with the pain when i wear heels. I think it would work better if the padding was thicker, since its pretty well constructed

I love these things. I have bunions and wear heels. I also run on a treadmill and do zumba. These things protect the ball of my foot from being rubbed by my shoes and socks and also prevent calluses and blisters. They are durable and washable. I've had my pair for about a year and they are still holding up strong. I used them for maybe 6 months out of that year. I just recently bought more to ensure I always have some around. I can wear them with heels and tennis shoes, don't really feel them and they don't bother my feet, when usually sock seams will.

I wear a size 10 shoe, and these fit my feet beautifully (I was worried they would be too small, because they said sizes 5-9). They are snug, but not tight, so I'm not worried about them slipping off or constricting my feet.
I will be using these for dance, and from trying them on, they seem easily comparable to foot undeez. Well worth the price!

I purchased these to assist with blisters I was getting on the balls of my feet when walking on the treadmill. I am pleased to say that they worked like a charm. I had weight loss surgery in October, 2014 and one of my goals was/is to start and stick to an exercise program. I have a membership to the Y, but don't always feel like going. I also have a treadmill at home. I find that sometimes it is easier to just throw on my shoes and walk at home. I had worked up to between 3 and 5 miles, 5 days per week when all of the sudden I got these horrible blisters on the balls of my feet and between my big toe and second toe. I found these protectors at my local drug store for double the price here at Amazon and bought a pack. I was amazed at the relief I got immediately. No more burning on the balls of my feet. No more slipping and rubbing in my tennis shoe when I walked. I wanted additional pairs as I wanted to wash them after each use, so I turned to trusty Amazon and found these great priced multi-packs! They are awesome! Just like the store purchase, the protect your feet from blisters and slippage in your shoes! They wash up well as well. I wash mine in the sink with my Forever New delicates wash and just clip to a skirt hanger to dry. I do not know if you could wash them in the washing machine or not. I probably would not recommend it. Mine have held up very well with hand wash and line dry after EVERY wear. Experts in preventing blisters say that you should never re-wear socks once you have perspired in them, so I followed that same guideline with these, fully expecting that I might have to replace them after a few washed since the ball of the foot piece has suede on it. I have had NO problems and mine have been washed at least 30 times to date. I will say that they do come up mid-foot on the top of your foot, so if you plan to wear them with dress shoes during the day for anything other than exercise, they will most likely show. I wear mine for exercise only. I highly recommend these for anyone who suffers from blisters, who has soft, sensitive foot skin or who suffers from burning on the balls of their feet when walking.
