Arrived quickly, well packaged and corresponds to description. The color is not the gray of the picture (at least it looks gray on my Mac) the typical bluish-green of old glass. It is not the bright turquoise of the new colored Ball jars. I have a small collection of old bottles on my mantel and this look identical to those in color. It has a nice vintage look and it comes with an equally vintage looking dull black lid. I have used them to make a chandelier. Ordinary jars would have been cheaper but these look so much better with the reclaimed wood that supports them. I have tried fitting other "standard" lids from my Ball jars and they do fit. Very happy about it.
The lid doesn’t have a seal.

If you plan to store food in this jar, you will need a different lid. It's a nice antique looking jar. I really like mine!
