Great tool for new parents
Nelson✓ Verified Purchase•February 9, 2018
This is a great steam sterilizer for bottles which will save new parents a lot of time trying to cleaning up bottles thoroughly. There are 2 layers, the upper layers can be used for bottle nipples and covers while the lower layer can be used for bottles. It's really easy to use as we just have to add fill the water onto the heating pad (do not overfill) and turn on the sterilizer.
The only place I don't like it is that there will be some mineral built up in around the heating element after a while and they are quite hard to clean up.

I don't think the material is good. I am disappointed with the brand

I really love having this sterilizer. It's easy to use, and gives me piece of mind about my baby's health. For my last baby I tried a microwave sterilizing bag, but it didn't fit much, and I often burned my hands on the steam. This fits 6, eight ounce bottles easily, and I usually have some pacifiers in there as well. Always use distilled water to avoid residue build up. If needed, I just wipe it with some white vinegar and it cleans off any hard water stains.
and it fits all parts nicely. It's compact and doesn't take up a lot ...

I use this to sterilize my breast pump parts and it works perfectly. I use it in the smallest configuration, and it fits all parts nicely. It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. The only downside is if you are living in a place that has hard water, you have to use water bottles (can't use the tap) or else the hot pan will get a lot of scaling after just one use. It would also be nice if AVENT included a specific measuring cup, as my bottles are labeled via ounces, not mL.
Great sanitizer!

I've had this sanitizer for 19 months, I bought it before the birth of my second daughter, used it for all her bottles and my breastpump parts, and I am now using it the same way for my newest baby. Last summer, it survived a long road trip from Missouri to Ontario (Canada), through New York state, all the way to Washington state, and back to Missouri, stopping at different hotels every night. And now, I take it with me when we stay with family.
It is showing signs of wear. The heating element has permanent stains that won't go away when cleaning with vinegar. I haven't tried cleaning with baking soda, but they seem like permanent damage to the metal in the heating element. I have only ever used distilled water and i always soak or rinse really well the bottles and breastpump parts to insure no milk or soap residue get onto the heating element.
I find it great that it still works, despite the very large amount of use and travel it has seen. It still heats water to boiling very quickly, and once done, the bottles are still too hot to be touched right away.
Other than that weird stain in the metal, it's a great sanitizer.
