Better than the store bought insoles
kathleen•February 19, 2018
I started taking Altrexa by Biotek Nutrition "“ Powerful Thermogenic Diet Pill Fat Burner for Fast Weight Loss and it boosted my energy so much that I am now running for an extra 10 minutes every day. Well, with those extra miles, my feet are getting beat up pretty bad. These have dramatically reduced the pain of my feet.
Great product

.I love these. I replace all my insoles. They are a must for my feet and back. They make a difference. Just remember you are putting in more insole than your shoe originally comes with so if your shoes fit perfect than these insoles will make your shoes fit tighter. I buy shoes to fit slightly big the put in these insoles. They are in my work boots, gym shoes and golf shoes. The blue originals are the thinnest ones in their line of full length insoles. Keep in mind thinnest is used in comparison to their other insoles. The red ones are thicker and provide more support but the have an unusual bump that is there for a reason. They take a little time to get used to but become very comfortable and supportive. The maroon ones provide great cushioning but make sure your shoe fits big, half size bigger. Probably best used in boots. I use the blues in my shoes and the red and maroon ones in my boots.

When I first tried these out in my Nike SFB coyote boots that come with Zero Arch support I thought they had too much support but after walking in them for a few days and then going on a 5 mile ruck march (hike with a 80lb bag) I found that these were absolutely wonderful and apparently exactly the right amount of Arch support for me. I have a medium Arch that was on the verge of collapsing do to my job (active duty 11b infantry US Army) which requires me to be on my feet the better part of 12 hours a day. In addition shipping was fairly quick given I bought these while deployed to Afghanistan and they got here in 6 days through APO address. They also dry out fairly quick if your feet sweat a lot (average temp here 107). In closing definitely worth buying soldier approved.
Helped tremendously with plantar fasciitis pain!

Update 11/08/17: I have been pain free for enough months now that I had actually forgotten that I ever had any issues! I slip these insoles into whatever pair of shoes I am wearing for the day and off I go pain free. I even manage to spend entire weekends literally standing for hours on end in my garage (nothing but cement) which before would have absolutely done me in, but now i don't even think twice about it. I wholeheartedly believe this was the last piece i needed in order to squash the plantar fasciitis once and for all.

Original review from June 2017 below:
My review is nothing that hasn't already been stated in other positive reviews, but I always rely on verified purchase opinions on products when deciding whether or not to buy, so i think it's important to still add my opinion as well.
I bought these after researching remedies for my admittedly self diagnosed plantar fasciitis (whatever did we do before the internet?) My symptoms that prompted me to buy these included a burning sensation in the back of my heel that made it painful/difficult to walk as well as pain in the bottom arch of my foot. I tried a variety of recommended treatments such as stretching and massaging the plantar fascia , which did offer moments of relief, but within minutes of walking the problem would return.
Finally after watching numerous videos i came to the conclusion that I was not standing much of a chance of recovery if i didn't give my feet the support they were lacking with my current shoe arsenal - which is comprised mostly of terribly flat tennis shoes that offered very little arch support (oh the price we pay for style!). After reading so many positive reviews I decided to go with the Powerstep insole.
If I'm being honest, when I first got them, i was very careful with the packaging because i intended to send them back thinking that they wouldn't really work. Many many (too many) years ago I had tried insoles in a particular pair of shoes and despised them. This was back in the days, if you can believe it, before Amazon ever existed. If I'm being honest, it was back before the internet even existed (no joke!) It was that experience that prevented me from ever bothering with an insole again. That being said, I couldn't take the pain - or embarrassment of struggling just to walk normally and pain free.
So I went for it.
Since the moment I have put them in my shoes I have been grateful! The burning sensation in my heel is no longer there. I am not claiming this to be an instant miracle, as I do still have a slight amount of discomfort in the bottom arch of my foot, but I am only two days into using the insoles and I believe that discomfort is because of the fact that there is likely still inflammation and tender spots that still need to recover from the injury to the plantar fascia. The discomfort i have is more that of feeling the pressure of the arch support and not the same kind of pain that prevented me from a more normal/healthy gait when walking. I do believe that the stretching and massaging as well as taking an anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen) also contributed to the vast improvement - but i also believe that the support these insoles offered were a very integral part of that combination of treatment steps that all work together.
I will continue to update this review as more time progresses in order to give a more accurate long term snapshot of how this helped with the plantar fasciitis, but truly i have no issue whatsoever in giving this five stars and recommending that you do not hesitate to purchase these insoles if you are suffering from a similar situation.

5.5 women's = 4 kids (youth)

These seem really nice. I bought them for my son who has severly flat feet causing over pronation. He used to have custom orthotics but his pediatric pediatrist told us there's no evidence orthotics bought for $700 (the molded plastic that straps over the child's feet) are any better than arch support and high top sneakers. So for a couple years now he's been wearing inserts in his shoes. I bought these because they are full foot length and he also said that's better than the half or full length. Anyway, I bought these in a women's size 5.5 womens to fit my 9 year old son's size 4 youth Nikes. Its a tight fit but they do fit flat inside. With these types of inserts my son doesn't roll his ankles as much and doesn't complain about foot pain.
