These are a great replacement for chocolate chips for me

These are a great replacement for chocolate chips for me. Keep in mind, they don't exactly taste like chocolate! But buried in some hot oatmeal, they melt and taste pretty good. I'd recommend them if you are looking for something healthier than chocolate chips, though you should know they won't taste exactly the same!

Very easy to use in recipes instead of chocolate. The carob has a wonderful flavor. Melts well. Fun to use as decorations on baked treats.

Product arrived as a block, not as chips

Product arrived as a block, not as chips. They either melted on the warehouse or on their way. Either way, they are useless as chips. I didn't take into account other people's complaint on this same issue, but it really is a serious issue. Will never buy again.
Not chocolate, but an ok substitute.

I was recently diagnosed as allergic to chocolate (which is horrible news since I love it so much). I bought these as a substitute. These certainly won't fool you if you are expecting a chocolate taste, but they look like chocolate and if you mix them with something else they aren't bad and will somewhat give you the sensation of chocolate.I will say that while I would eat a crazy amount of chocolate in one sitting if given the opportunity, I only want a few of these.
