One small flaw

The material and basic design for this product is excellent with one exception. I had to enlarge the hole for the heel because it was cutting into my heel and causing a great deal of pain. Fortunately, the fabric is such that this can be done with scissors and there is no fraying to be dealt with. After enlarging the hole, it worked great and is very comfortable.

This item seems to be for a "light" application. The straps that complete the figure 8 don't really give the ankle much support at all. The hole where the heel goes is not for everybody. I personally have an issues with it & stop several times a day to give my foot a rest.

Great Support For My Ankle

Support for an old ankle injury is what I needed. I have flat feet, and have injured my right ankle several times. This is my dominant foot, and for long walks I need support. What I have discovered is that my ankle feels so supported with this Bracoo ankle supporters qthat I wear it most every day.
The instructions that come with it explain the best process to use to apply the support.
1. Release all Velcro straps and lay this in the floor and step into the brace.
2. Tighten the Velcro closure on the foot to a comfortable tightness. With use you will find the best fit.
3. Tighten the Velcro closure above the ankle to a comfortable tightness.
4. Crossover the Velcro closure above the ankle to the correct tightness.
This gives me a very good support, and the open heel design allows for a good range of motion. This gives my arch and ankle the support I was missing. This will fit up to an 11 inch circumference.
It is hand wash and dry, and then you are good to go for the next day. This has given me the support I need for my right ankle, and I find that edema I may have is lessened.
