As Good as Homemade and Faster!

This is absolutely the best commercial sauce you can buy! I used to make my own sauce with fresh tomatoes, fresh garlic, some chopped onions, a little olive oil and spices, but it takes a while to chop everything and simmer it down - this sauce tastes just as good and all I have to do is open the jar! I use several flavors of Mia's pasta sauces just as they are on any kind of pasta, chicken, fish or shrimp. They are also perfect to use as a time-saving base for my favorite layered casserole of short pasta, spinach, and cheese (sometimes with chicken, sausage, or vegetables). I love that they do not have any gums or starches, just the natural thickening that comes from good cooking!

Best Canned Sauce

There are dozens of canned sauces on the market and I have tried many. Mia's Kitchen Bistro Marinara is by far the best I have ever tried. Just the right amount of texture and seasoning. I can't find it locally so I order, via Amazon, a quantity of jars every few weeks - it's that good!
Typical American marinara mixed with crushed tomatoes

I've been trying as many sauces and this one was just average. Cheapened with crushed tomatoes like most ones nowadays and crushed tomatoes makes it something no self respecting Italian would, well, respect. A bit heavier in olive oil than the rest. This review is only for sauce only (5.99 at local grocery store), not the seller.
