Nice big ship for model or play.

My nephew loves ships and boats and needless to say he was very happy to open this on Christmas Day. He started putting it together right away and has been playing with it ever since. It's actually a model boat so we had to help him put it together with glue but overall he still has a lot of fun playing with it as a toy.

Great kit really detailed. We bought this for our 17-year old nephew, Connor. It took him nine days to build it (for most people it would have taken a couple of weeks). It is incredibly detailed. He was able to make it sea-worthy. This kit is highly recommended for those who are admirers of the Titanic or love building detailed models of ships.

What can I say about this kit? Minicraft has produced what is very likely the nicest, highest-quality replica of the great ship that you could possibly hope to have. It is a highly detailed kit, and includes a one piece hull (this will require some sanding to eliminate molding lines) and many small and highly detailed parts. It even comes with a nice looking stand and nameplate for your model. Out of the box, it builds up into an extremely nice replica of the ill-fated liner (if proper care and patience are exercised in the assembly and painting of course), but one can take it even further with after-market photo-etched brass that adds uber-detail to the ship and really brings it to life. Truthfully, at this pricepoint, the amount of detail, and the size of the model (the hull measures out at just over 30" from stem to stern), you really can't do much better for a museum-quality replica like this.

Working on this model now. It seems strange to me that the rear sides of deck walls have more detail and the fronts look like the rear drab and no definition. Decided to spruce it up with the Tom's photo etched set to dress out the windows and railings and cranes.An additional $60.00 to make it look better because there is no detail on the deck walls
