It said all my batteries were bad, even the new ones........
Aeron M•September 11, 2017
I got the tester today and tested about 12 batteries, from D to AA to 9V..... it tested every single one as in the red/"needs replacing"... even brand new batteries just out of the packaging...... according to my other tester (built in to the battery storage organizer), all the batteries were good. I am therefore concluding that this one is a dud... or at least not calibrated properly. I will be returning it.
This thing pays for itself fast

This thing is awesome. I had a big bag full of batteries, from the kids toys to remote controls and flashlights. You never know what was mixed with good batteries and bad. Anyway for the couple of dollars this was, it paid for itself in that bag of mixed batteries. Pulled out like 12 good batteries. My dad liked it so much that I ordered one for him.
Good basic battery tester for quick, simple analog testing
Connor•June 7, 2017
Good basic battery tester for quick simple analog testing that adds a specific load to accurately tell the voltage for in-use situations. Be sure to read it right for button cells though. Was not smart and threw good button cells away from that. Don't test any battery for that long as the inside is just resistors and you *could* burn them out. Otherwise a good basic tester.
Good Batterie Tester
Elfriede Rucker•April 17, 2017
Works good, but my old tester was Spring loaded and it held the batterie it place. This one is somewhat awkward to handle, one has to hold the batterie so it does not fall out. Trying to see the reading is again unhandy because you are holding the tester up side down. It does what I need for, to let me know how good or bad the batteries are.
Necessary equipment for parents of young children
P0e_Dameron•April 12, 2017
Easy to use - fits all common sizes, and now we're able to clear out a lot of our old batteries we were uncertain about, and found several that were still charged! This item is one of the most crucial tools in our house now, since we have 4 children under 5 which means battery powered toys everywhere, consuming batteries of all sizes.
