I originally purchased these as a gift. I gave one jar to a friend for making drinks. I kept the other. My husband & I have found a new indulgence: Vanille ice cream with a couple of these cherries and a large spoonful of juice on top! We will definitely be reordering.

These are so yummy! I'm giving them to hard-to-buy-for relatives who enjoy finer things. The jars are beautiful. The cherries, delectable!

The cherries are excellent to accompany any dish, and make the perfect ingredient for a Black Forest Cake

On their own, they are fairly strong flavored, with a good balance between the fruit flavors, sweetness and tartness, but that, obviously, is not their purpose. The syrup is similar, well-balanced, initially the sweet fruit notes hits the palate, followed by some tartness of the fruit on the finish.

In a drink, the fruit flavors due show, but not strongly. After finishing the drink, the intensity of the fruit and sweetness is reduced and just the amazing fruit flavors present themselves, with just a touch of tartness on the finish.

Both my wife and I were blown away by how good they are. They are definitely a nice addition to drinks. My wife tried one in a table wine and she liked it that way, too. They add very little sweetness, due to them also being tart, so there is a good balance there. In the table wine, the cherry notes were discernable, but not strong, and complemented the flavors of the wine.

Overall very good.

Great cherry. Firm and so tasty by themselves or in old fashioned's. Only cherry my wife will put in her cocktails. Repeat customer.
