Stay away from these!!! These are horrible. I clean em and the next day they're clogged. The UV doesn't seem to work as algae is out of control even with good vegetation and shade over our pond. I would never buy one of these again.

Ive had better pumps for less money.

I like the design. It sits great in my pond; however the pump is not very powerful and the UV sterilizer doesnt work as floating algae still remains in my pond. More of a pond decor than a working part. Save your money and shop different pumps that actually work. I plan on visiting the local pond store and have them suggest a powerful pump.

This is my 2nd one of these. I had a serious problem in my pond with the water being muddy & murky. I had someone who sells aquarium products look at my pond and she immediately said that my problem was floating algae and that a UV filter would clear it up. I had her order my first one, and I left the choice up to her; she knew my situation and was better able to determine my needs. The filter did such a good job of clearing up the floating algae that when I had some issues with my first purchase (caused by other than malfunction of the product), I immediately ordered in the same exact model to replace it. I would highly recommend this UV filter.

I wasted money on this, clogged up, little rubber legs fell of. did absolutely nothing to clear water. DON'T purchase, good idea, but makes a better anchor.
