This stuff is awesome. Had a terrible field mouse and roof noise problem that it cured completely. At first it takes time for the rodents to get to them. They are suspicious but after a while they do. Be prepared to pick up a lot of dead rodents. I put my hand into an empty plastic bag, grabbed the rodent, flipped the bag over and tied it into a Knowles and tossed it in my outside trash receptacles. They stink. They make feeble noises and no more of that. I'd say it cleaned out about 50. When more come as they do, it does the job again. I burry and hide then so only the mice can get them. I still have half the buckets worth. Love this product. I tried everything before it. Everything else was garbage as a do it yourselfer anyway. Saves a ton over a monthly service. Will replenish again as needed. Goes a very long way.

After the D-Con pellet packets became unavailable, we tried all sorts of other rat baits with near-zero results at our mountain cabin in the northwest. We didn't have much hope for this Farnam product when we ordered this bucket after we'd winterized the cabin last Fall, and we wished then that we could find a much smaller quantity to try. Now we're very glad we ordered the full bucket, because the mice have been gobbling the pellets since Spring. To minimize mess, we made bait stations from small plastic containers we spray-painted black, cut small entrance holes at the top rim, and placed, with lids on, upside down on the floor with the bags inside. Ordinarily we notice very little mouse activity at bait stations during the warmer months, but the mice have sure been enjoying the taste of these pellets this year. We'll double up on the number of baits we put out this month, and look forward to finding evidence of a sharp increase in mouse suicides when we re-open the cabin next year. Thanks, Farnam! Repeat purchase...Self explanatory-Rat bait pellets in pillow packs. Just a effective as the old dCon...but you need a container to put it in to avoid scattering all over an area you wish to treat!

I originally bought this item for tiny mice inside the house. It seemed to work pretty good. I did put it in places that the dog and cat couldn't get to easily (but they are spoiled and didn't seem interested anyway). However, I decided to write this review after using this again just a couple of weeks ago on rats! I didn't realize rats borough in underground tunnels out in the yard. I had a giant family living in the back garden by my shed. That was a first... Yikes!
This stuff killed all those rats in 3 days!! It was a little crazy when they get confused from the main ingredient and their brains start to swell. They were walking around the yard in slow motion in open sight. Luckily they went back into their underground tunnels to die. Literally the best stuff ever!!

I bought this product because of positive reviews and lower price last November. In the past I have used D-Con bait bags. After several months, my house has a healthy infestation of mice running in the ceilings, and all of the Just One Bite bags, which are all over the house, are untouched. In the past, D-Con bags were consumed within a few days or weeks. In my judgment, this product is completely ineffective.
