Great little Zippo just if you plan on making this ur primary cigarette lighter grab some extras flints (and of course fluid) the little hole in the bottom of the cotton flap holds an extra one perfectly been using it almost 2 months and love it and don't forget every Zippo has a life time warranty how could u go wrong it's a good looking less bulky version of the greatest lighter ever made
Awesome lighter! Lid wiggles more than I think it should though.

I received this as a Christmas present this year and I love it! The armor case has a more robust feel to it than a normal Zippo. The only complaint I have is the lid has a lota lot more wiggle to it than I feel a new Zippo should have. I don't know if this is normal or not but it is still a beautiful lighter. The polished finish won't last long and the brass will develop a patina that I love! Very happy with this purchase! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the lid.
UPDATE. I emailed Zippo and they said the lid is supposed to have a little slop in it due to the way they secure the hinge pin. They said it's to keep the pin from wearing out prematurely or breaking.

It's a Zippo. A great Zippo. Nuff said.

I carry a lot of stuff in my pockets, so I appreciate any streamlining. The Zippo slim does need to be filled more often than the larger Zippo, but once you develop the habit of how often it needs another little shot of fluid for your level of use, you're set. Reliable, reasonably windproof lights from one of the most dependable names on the planet. The solid brass is nice, tho I do wish they hadn't stamped "Solid Brass" on it. But the protective lacquer has worn off mine now and it's starting to get the look and feel and character of brass, which I dearly love. If you love a good thing well-executed, if you love years and years of dependable use, you'll smile every time you flip open the top and spin the wheel. You can feel the quality. The precision. It's a Zippo.
Its a zippo.

Very nice lighter. This is the first zippo I've owned in many , many years. They are a little bit smaller than I recall but it works wonderfully and has that distinctive zippo click when opened. I was concerned about getting a fake as I've seen lots of warnings on the internet about a glut of fakes on the market so I boned up on how to spot a fake and I am happy to report this is indeed an original zippo. If in doubt for yourself there are some wonderful utube videos out there that show you how to spot a fake. Oh so many ways to spot a fake. Anyhow great lighter that I hope to have for the rest of my days or at least until I lose it.
Get the regular size instead

The slim is nothing like the regular size zippo. Not really worth purchasing this size, thought it would look nice for a lady but gives much trouble in closing. Go with the regular size fits well in your hand opens and closes gently with that famous "clink". As opposed to the slim, every time I try to close it. It just gets stuck, have to readjust the chimney part in order to close.
