I looked at a lot of cover lifters and this was the best choice for the spa and space I had to use it. Easy to install, but a helper and a cordless drill are necessary. Took about 1 hour. Follow the instructions carefully. Works well for my 7' x 7' spa and makes the cover easy to handle for one person. Quality is good and it should last as long as the spa and cover.

This is a heavy duty, well made, piece of equipment. Directions were relatively easy to follow. I bought it before my swim spa arrived, which was a mistake, since the cover came in 4 separate pieces instead of being hinged in the center. This was no fault of these cover lifters, Once I managed to put the two on each side together it works fine. For a swim spa you must purchase two of these, a fairly heavy investment. Follow directions exactly on how far from the end you place the brackets. If one is off it won't operate smoothly. From reading this you can tell that I had some difficulties with installation. They were not the fault of the product. Totally operator error! This in spite of the fact that there are YouTube videos for each step as well as the written directions. Once installed, you will be glad you purchased this.

We had a bit of a challenge with our spa cover, as our spa sits inside our deck, so we had a very minimal amount of space for the cover to sit upright. The cover valet worked perfectly! Now we no longer have to struggle with schlepping the cover completely off and back on, and while the cover is up, it no longer sits on top of our deck...plus, it gives us even more privacy on one side of our deck that faces neighbors. this product is well built and was really easy to install...so glad we found you!
