Large enough to open & close one-handed while wearing gloves. Tanto style blade measures 3 1/2" L x 1 1/2" W with thumb studs and a stiff solid liner lock holding it securely in place when open and locked. Uniquely, this blade has a false back edge rather than the usual distal taper, giving this a bit more of a dagger look than the pictures here show, and a nice design feature. "Camillus Carbonitride Titanium" is printed in small letters on one side of the blade, and "VG-10" on the other side. VG-10 is the blade material, an excellent stainless "super steel" containing 0.95-1.05% Carbon, plus Manganese, Chromium, Vanadium, Molybdenum, and Cobalt, and used by e.g. Spyderco for its Seki City produced knives, with a really good HRC value of 59-61. Carbonitride Titanium is the dark gray (not true black) flat coating on the blade, which so far has not rubbed off. Along with the black handle and hardware, this knife has a dark tactical stealth look to it. I like the feel of opening and closing the blade because it is so secure. All screws are Torx so the knife can be disassembled and cleaned as needed. The only limitation is that the clip cannot be moved, only removed, so your choice is either to carry it clipped with the blade tip-down and opening to the left, or to remove the clip, etc. Regardless, this knife is first rate and possibly the best of its kind at this price because of the VG-10 steel and the nice G-10 handle scales. Military tough but just small enough to be a reasonable pocket knife for EDC (depending on local law). Assembled in China, but does not say so on the knife (at least that I can find). VG-10 steel is produced in Japan, but the knife does not say this either. So if you are looking for something that does not advertise it was made overseas, this meets your criterion.
