Very disappointed in this set. The design on the pieces were stamped on. Detailed pattern not consistent thru out pieces.
Some pieces had black residue on them and some were scratched as if someone else had them.
Set scratches very easy.
Returned 2 due to problems.
Wish it could have worked out because set is pretty. Expected better from the Wallace flatware co.
Still.wondering why the many reviews from other buyers saying they were pleased with this set. Maybe they received a set manufactured from another factory who are stamped their pieces much better?

Beautiful set! Very shiny with nice weight. The first set was missing a knife, but Amazon exchanged it easily. This set pairs well with Napoleon Bee iced beverage spoons, which are pictured but obviously not included. I purchased those separately.

Purchased this set because I'm looking for thick rounded handled knives. The set has substantial weight but way better in pictures. On the fence, haven't decided if I'm keeping or sending back ... I should probably send back.

I like the shabby chic mismatched look, so I had ordered this set 8 years ago. I needed more flatware, so I just ordered this newer version to augment it. It is even better than the original! All the pieces are heavier, and the knives have solid handles! In the photo, you see the original pieces on the left, and the newer version on the right. You can see that Wallace holds up beautifully. Love this set!!

I love this set, its unique blend of styles goes well with the vibe in my home. It is on the larger/heavier side, I would not consider small and dainty at all. I am a bit disappointed in the knives, they appear to be rounded in most pictures I have seen of this flatware but they are more flat than round, but not enough disappointment to not rate as 5 stars, as I received a lot in this 77 piece set for the price. I am using as everyday flatware and they wash nicely. I did not have any issues with stains or not receiving the complete 77 pieces, as others have posted. I added a photo of the flatware on an 11 inch plate as it may help you visualize the size of the pieces you will receive.
