Speed and ease of operation 7 CDs in 3 min, and quality of recordings was very good.

Dislike the manual. It was some what confusing to me. But if I need to work on the unit, I think I can figure it out. I'm a 83 year old radio repairman from the vacuum tube days and haven't kept up with the new stuff.

I work in developing nations. My job is non-traditional education methods (tablets, dvd's, etc). I use these methods with people who can't access a more formal education due to money or proximity to a city.

In one of the countries, we are helping them establish a center where they can reproduce their own DVD's of the coursework offered. Therefore, I bought the Bestduplicator.

I'm sure that the DVD duplicator is as great as the other reviews say, but my review is about the customer service from Alice. She was great! Leaving the next Saturday, I ordered on Sunday afternoon. The product said shipping would be in a couple of days. I didn't know shipping and delivery were different. After I entered payment, I saw where the delivery would be cutting it very close or after my departure to a country that's never to easy to go.

I wrote an email to the company on Sunday thinking that I might hear back on Monday. Alice, the weekend agent of Amamax, wrote me back immediately. Before I knew it, she had expedited shipment. It is now at my house, packed, and ready to go with a couple of days to spare.

Alice was friendly and more helpful than I deserved. I appreciate her quick willingness to excuse my mistake and help me in a pinch. I will definitely be looking back to this website for more electronic items just because I know there is customer service like this.

So far, so good! I am on my third duplicator. depending how often you use it should determine how long product will last. On my last one, the 7th drawer just stopped working, but with this one it has been good for the couple weeks. It got here faster than I expected and works a little different from my last model, but so far I am a happy camper. Hope it lasts longer than the first 2! Michael

This is my first duplicator and my only prerequisite was the Samsung Drives. I decided to purchase my own duplicator instead of paying for a service. The cost was a little more then using a service once. I plugged it in and started 300 duplication's which took less time then I thought. Every CD was perfect with no errors. I used Verbatim Printable CD's which I read in the reviews as being a good CD. So far this has been a pleasure to use. No frustration trying to figure out how to use it. I'm confident that the Samsung drives will be durable. and if the controller is as well built, this should last quite a while. So far I can recommend this for other newbies like myself.

2016 UPDATE! I have no Idea how many CD's I've burnt since my purchase but my last project was over 500 and still no problems!!!!!!!!!
I had to replace one drive (Which was simple) This machine is still chugging along as it did when I purchased it in 2012.
