Update: The lid does not allow the scale to lay flat, I suggest removing it. This scale is not perfect, it tends to be inconsistent. Though it has improved after I have gotten used to its quirks:
- Raises by 0.02g minimum, doesn't seem to acknowledge 0.01g.
- The buttons do not always register.
- The scale may delay several seconds before finally jumping up. Be patient and allow the scale to adjust when you know it should raise.
- Do not use the scale near AC, avoid breathing heavily. It's touchy, the slightest bit of air flow will cause the numbers to scramble lol. Allow the scale to adjust.
- The screen light (via blue button) can cause the scale to behave erratically. If you see the light dimming or flickering, you may notice the numbers jumping up and down unpredictably. This is not necessarily due to low battery.
- If the scale is not plugged in, the scale will randomly shut off (even with fresh batteries). This is a big flaw, as the scale is powered by batteries...in other words - when plugged in, the scale will not turn on without batteries...AND the scale does not operate properly without being plugged in. Kind of an oxymoron.

This scale is able to get the job done but not without issues. The YouTube reviewers used this scale with much better accuracy so I'm not sure if there are knockoffs floating around. I'd rate my experience with my particular scale at 3 stars.

I bought this at full price and six months after purchase and this scale no longer works. Approximately 10 seconds after zeroing the scale the digital display begins to countdown, as it were. The scale starts showing a negative weight and continues to go down into the negatives. After a minute it display a considerable amount of weight into the negative.

It sits on my shelf and I rarely even use it. I have change the batteries and used the provided power adapter. I have moved it to different rooms of my home and attempted a calibration in each room and with each power source. Is it too late for a refund?

Use it for DIY vaping juice. So far, so good. Weight is very accurate, AC power adapter is perfect for a beginner like me when it takes me a bit longer. It seems to measure pretty consistent. I actually had to turn off my ceiling fan off because the scale was sensing the pressure of the ceiling fan air pressing down on it. Sounds bizarre but tested it over a few times to find out why the numbers on the scale kept moving until I finally made the connection. I am not affiliated with this company or Amazon at all. Just like to share information for anyone shopping and trying to make a good choice when buying things online. I know theres a lot of not-so-great products to there. I will usually update if I have any problems with products and I don't take free stuff to change a rating. IMHO the ratings are either a 5 or 1. It either works as expected or does not. I think for the money, so far this has been a good purchase.

I bought this Scale to mix e liquid by weight. I couldn't be happier with AWS, I've owned scales by them in the past and was never disappointed. I will list the pros and cons of this Scale.

PROS:
- Comes with batteries INCLUDED!
- Comes with calibration weights, which was needed for me as my Scale was off by almost a 20th of a gram, which was expected.
- Has a lid protecting from dust and impact.
- Toggle-able LED screen lighting.
- Includes a nice bowl for weighing, which rests on the scale in a way that almost locks it there, so it cannot be nudged.
- Includes power adaptor so that the scale will not turn off during weighs.
- Includes a 10 year warranty.
- Low priced and high quality.

CONS:
- The only con I can think of is the locks on the lid, you need to press 2 buttons on each side of the scale and lift the lid simultaneously. Due to the size of the scale this can be a little bit of a hassle for people with smaller hands, even my large hands have a hard time. I think just 1 button in the center on the front would of worked better, or only being required to press 1 button and it will disengage both locks, or a spring that pops the lid open.

So, this Scale is perfect, I have many uses for it.

I use this scale frequently. It functions consistently well. The accuracy is within the stated limits and the readings are reliable. The display has very large output window and numerals which is especially important to me. I also appreciate the connection to a/c current -- many small scales allow use only with batteries. The primary controls are intuitive, but there are special functions the use of which is not immediately clear without careful reading the instruction guide, and, like so many products these days, the print in the guide is EXTREMELY small. [Seniors and those with vision issues should keep this fact in mind.] The scale comes in two main pieces -- the scale and the bowl. The bowl is especially good for weighing items that tend to spill. However, this presents a storage issue since the two parts are very different in size and shape. If the scale remains on the counter, then there is no problem; however, if storage is required, it may be difficult to find an entirely appropriate location for both items together. The lid is hinged and flips up to open which can present some counter space problems, but at least you can be sure the lid will not be misplaced! If you are going to store this scale, then keep the original box to put it in! One final issue, the scale comes with two calibration weights. One weight was defective -- the small plug sealing the weight after final calibration had come loose and the lead insert had fallen out of the larger weight. I was able to reinsert the lead piece, but the plug will not remain in place. Going through the process of returns is more than I want, so I will keep it as it is; however, the indication is that manufacturing quality control is not doing a top notch job. I still give this scale a five star rating not only because of the reasons [pro] stated above but also because this is my third AWS scale, and all have proved most suitable for purpose intended and quite durable. AWS produces a fine scale at a reasonable price.
