Great for weighing traumatized pets

This scale works great if you have pets that need frequent weighing and hate going to the vet. It has numerous functions and can weigh pounds and ounces, ounces, grams, kilograms, and what I would call digital pounds (pounds and tenths, rather than pounds and ounces), which is what my vet uses. One function that has been extremely useful for me is the ability to put a pet bed on the scale and subtract its weight so the scale reads zero with the bed on it. I have a cat that is terrified of the scale (reminds him of traumatic vet visits), and the only way to ease him onto the scale without a total meltdown is to put his bed on the scale and then weigh him. Also, my husband likes the scale for weighing his fishing gear and other equipment for weight-restricted flights. It's also handy for weighing packages and whatnot. Just be sure not to put anything more than 30 pounds on it.

This scale has worked very well for me with accurate readings. I used it to weigh Schnauzer puppies. Until they got above 1kg the scale was a bit flakey and if there was any movement it didn't "catch". Once it weighed 1kg or higher it would "beep" and set to the weight. Sometimes it would randomly add or subtract a few grams and I'm not sure how which was annoying so I'd be sitting there with a puppy in my hand hitting the Tier button to get it back to zero out but otherwise it has been a great scale and very much worth the value.
It says it's a 30lb capacity, but I did weigh the mom on this scale and she weighed in at 32lbs. She wasn't very happy trying to sit entirely on the platform but I think it was an accurate reading. :P

Holding them and weighting me then subtracting my weight from the total works better. My husband thinks its great for weighting

I didn't believe the reviews but they were right. Impossible to get my kitties to sit on it in the middle so I never get an accurate weight.
