Had ankle surgery and needed to be in a fracture boot for 12 weeks! The liner of my original boot began to show real wear and tear (and smell). I washed the liner...bad idea...the velcro never returned to normal. not strong enough. Found this boot on Amazon (THANKS AMAZON),it is the same brand that they sent be home from the hospital in, except it did not have the air pump...also the one from the hospital was $30+ more than this one with the air chamber. I decided to try this one and I am glad I did. The boot is comfortable and the air chamber can be pumped up for a more secure, compression like feeling...my ankle liked that, or you can release the air for more room...it works really well!. There is nothing about having to wear these boots that is fun...comfort and ease of putting on and off is essential. This boot is super comfy and easy to wear. Heading to NYC in 2 weeks...will be 100% weight bearing...will report back and let you know how it holds up!

Took this bad boy to the Bahamas! We had a good time together. I got one from the hospital, and bought this one to use as a swim boot while on vacation. It was comfortable, and durable. Fast drying time. No complaints. Helps you float better too. Light swimming only, mostly wading, but it worked well.
