These are the best glass cutters! If you're going to be cutting glass, just bite the bullet and spend the money. You'll thank yourself later with faster cutting, less breakage, more accurate cuts, and much less frustration. Stop in at a glass shop and see what the guys are using. It'll be one of these. It's for a reason. The first time I saw someone use one of these, he snapped the glass so easily that I thought he was playing a joke on me. I had been using the "hardware store" $5 glass cutter and using so much pressure that it was down right dangerous at times.
CRL TOYO Original Supercutter Metal Handle

This is the best glass cutter I have owned. Takes very little pressure to score your glass and is very well made. The hollow handle allows you to fill it with cutting oil; I use compressor oil or 3-in-1 oil. You cannot loose if you purchase this little jewel. After shopping around, I found Amazon to have the best price for this cutter.
Leaps and Bounds ahead of Steel Wheel Cutters

I used to hate cutting glass for picture frames, but this cutter is a joy to use. Very easy to learn and consistent results. Some people say to use oil, some say you don't need it for this type of blade. I think it works fine without. Don't buy those cheap steel wheel cutters and just go with this from the start to save you a lot of frustration. Listen for that ripping sound to know you're putting the right pressure on the glass.
Amazing.

Anything I know about glass cutting from Google and youtube.
I also know a quality tool makes a job much easier.
This thing can be used by a child.
It's super easy to cut glass with this tool.
Highly recommended.

Compared to other cheaper glass cutters on the market, the TOYO Original Supercutter is amazing. Its quality is very fine and everything about the Supercutter is solid in design.
I needed to use the cutter to score an old piece of glass and get it into a few different smaller pieces for a fixed window in a tree stand and this cutter scored the glass with ease. Sure, it's pricey, but if you want something you can depend on, then go with the TOYO Supercutter.
