Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter. Boxed nicely, no damage on the outside. Figured I would open it and look after reading several reviews and was not impressed. There were a lot of broken shadows that had made a mess everywhere inside. If it had just a few I probably would have kept it. However, I did send it back for a refund, so I can't comment on the quality of the actual product. If you can get one that isn't broken, it is a very compact kit, and would have been a perfect starter kit for a tween.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loved it. However, very delicate. I messed up one shade trying to look at it before giving it as a gift, and my daughter broke something on it the first use. She's 17. Nice colors.
