Do NOT Buy!

After noticing a flicker in my LED lights, I decided to measure the output with an oscilloscope. There was a 120Hz ripple of 3.44 Volts RMS, which is a 25% ripple factor. This is totally unacceptable for a product that cost $100. I've found other, much less expensive dimmable 12v drivers with a much smaller ripple. Do not buy this product, you'll become nauseated (or at least uncomfortable) by the flicker of the LED lights.

Look at the input and output on the oscilloscope! I can't believe amazon allows this product to be sold.
Good construction, not great regulation

I'm using this to drive about 14W of LEDs for outdoor lighting. It works (mostly), it dims, and the construction is quite good. But I have a few issues:

1) The output is not true DC, it is full-wave rectified AC. There appears to be no filtering, and no DC regulator. Vrms(12) = 17Vpp.

2) The max RMS output voltage of my transformer has degraded over ~12 months from about 11.2 to now about 10.0rms. That's at about 15W load on a 40W transformer. I don't know if it will continue to drop, but if it does I'll have to replace the transformer since my LED lighting is now noticeably dimmer at full brightness.

3) As many other people reported, my unit was not packed well for shipping and was physically damaged on arrival (mounting ears were bent). I was able to straighten them and use it, but their packing quality is terrible.

4) There is no output fusing, so I had to add my own. The enclosure is rather small for all of the wiring plus an AGC fuse holder, but it is possible.

Note: my unit is located outdoors in a weather protected area, with approximately a 15W purely resistive load (LED) on a 40W model. I am using one of the Lutron dimmers from their "compatible" list.
works well a little spendy.

Good choice when paired with a lutron dvlv-600p dimmer and led tape lights. Construction seems good. So far it works well. Slightly warm when operating. My only complaint would be that to me this is overpriced. I would like to see it sell for around 30% less.
For the high price, needed accessories not included. Not compatible with Lutron DVLV-600P-WH.

I am using these units to drive 50 watts total of LED cable lights. Couple issues:
1. For the ridiculously high price, they should have come with both wire nuts, and plastic round wire protectors to go in the knock out holes. Neither were included.

2. Looked at the list of compatible magnetic LV dimmer switches on LEDWholesalers site. Chose the Lutron DVLV-600P-WH. With both units I have, this combination does not work - at full power (full brighness), it causes the power supply's protection circuitry to kick in and turn off the lights every 30 seconds. Tested my load to make sure it was not this, dropped to 25 watts, same behavior. Does not do this with a regular on/off switch or another dimmer tested. So in my expereince it is NOT compatible with this dimmer. Also bummed the Lutron Caseta units, which I installed everywhere else in the house, are not compatible with this.

UPDATE - tested with Leviton MDM06-1LW dimmers. Does not work at all (even though these are on the list of compatible ones). Causes transformer to buzz LOUDLY, then trip off at full power. Do not dim completely off either. These dimmers are complete garabage when used with this transformer.
