Makes lifting a cinch

This hoist works well enough but the rope is too short if you need to lift anything more the 6 ft. The rope is mechanically clamped to the pulley so you can't change it out yourself with a longer rope (or when the rope wears out). I would have rather paid more for a longer rope version of this hoist.

Fantastic product that did exactly what i needed it to do. Even had to do some sketchy stuff with it (given what I was building had a strange shape and was hard to access). And it has done great and works even at strange angles. I got 4 of them and they are holding up over 300 lbs spread out over 40 feet. Will buy again for my next project. Only con is i wish the rope was a little longer. I bought a cheap 7$ rope with 100 feet and made each of the 4 i bought 25 feet longer.

What a great piece of equipment. Just hang it up on a tree, hoist your deer or hog up, drive your ATV underneath and pull the release to let it back down to load.

I bought two of these to hang two bikes from the ceiling of my cramped garage. Hung them 32 inches apart from ceiling joists along one wall of garage. Worked great! Can raise the bikes from either a front or back tire, so they are out of the way to open a car door. My 12 year old can easily operate them to get his bike down, or pull it back up. A great product at a fail price.
