The OZ Chain Hoist from OZ Lifting Products, LLC worked perfectly right out of the box, no assembly required. As part of my pre-purchase research I always visit the manufacturer's website. A huge selling point for me on the OZ site [ozliftingproducts.com] was the very detailed animated maintenance breakdown that showed step by step disassembly and reassembly of the hoist with part number references to their online spare parts list. Also online are a downloadable operator's manual, a spare parts list and a safety inspection guide. The quality of the hoist, thoroughness of their website material, being rigged in the USA and a great price from Amazon made my final decision very easy. I am pleased with my OZ chain hoist and would definitely recommend it to others.
