Beautifully crafted walking stick in a style of the old country, an ideal introduction to using a cane. Well made and helpful in assisting in mobility, especially if you are not ready to step up to the larger rubber tipped cane. While it may not be as safe and sturdy as a full cane, it is a stylish companion for getting around. Nearly a year into use, a few spots of the black painted bark is chipping and may need a touchup soon. The copper pipe tip may not be ideal for fine wood floors, but is very durable.
I think the walking stick is a beautiful stick. And was meant mostly as a joke ...

I think the walking stick is a beautiful stick. And was meant mostly as a joke for my husband. I was slightly disappointment that was too short for him to actually use as a walking stick despite the fact that I got the length that was recommended for his height. If you really want it for a walking stick buy the next length higher for the person it is intended for.
