I also bought a Sun Joe LJ10M, it was cheaper and was delivered fully assembled in two days. To my surprise, the Logger Joe seems to be the identical machine as this one except for the brand name and color. It was cheaper, arrived faster and fully assembled. In hindsight I wish I had simply bought the Logger Joe.
Great buy!!!

Bought it to split some Maple and Oak. My arms are no longer sore, from endlessly swinging an axe at Oak rounds. If I have knots no problem, The 10 tons of force has no problem splitting just about anything. The process is a little slow but far easier than a splitting axe. It's not too heavy, fairly small profile it can store vertical so defiantly a space saver. No gas to mix or buy, so easy the wife and kids can now help! I would definitely recommend it to anyone that splits there own wood.

cons: the metal braces on the side get caught on limbs and can bend.
the wheel are a bit small no rolling in gravel is a no no....
Other than that I cant find a thing wrong with it!
I would buy another if I needed to, but so far haven't needed to.

I have split a lot of wood in my life and have used a lot of log splitters. I usually use a wedge and a sledge hammer, but as I am getting a little older, I thought I would actually buy something to assist me with the three cords I had down in my driveway. This little unit does the trick. For the price, I couldn't beat it. I was going to cost me things much just to rent a splitter for the day. If I rented it for the day, I would have to work pretty hard to get through those three cords, so, I thought, Why not just try one. I can always return it if I want.

NOPE - I am keeping it.

The construction is very solid. I dropped it from the bed of my pickup and it was fine - as one would except. It isn't too heavy that it can't be portable, to take into the wood and split the wood there, leave the mess behind.

The handles store in the iFrame and it does store standing up very easily.

The faults I have seen are:
* The small little L brackets bend very easily and they should be FLAT instead of an L.
* The nuts on the bottom of the "U" brackets come loose as you use it - I would expect that as much as I was pressing logs :)
* The wedge works - but it would be better if it was a little taller.
* It is 20" - I guess this isn't much of a fault since most stoves only take 18" but sometimes I have a few logs cut a little too long and I want to cut them after I split them.

Other than that - this is a great little tool for the price.
powerful, be careful when you use it.
