Mediocre/good, WOULD buy again.

Decent knife; you get what you pay for. This is going to ride around in my car in case I ever need to help someone out in an accident; it's not my EDC and no where near the quality of the butterfly's that I do carry. However, It has a nice grip, will no doubt function well as a glass breaker and/or seatbelt cutter. Serrated blade is nice to have too.
The opening and closing action is a bit difficult compared to some knives that I own. It doesn't flick open easily with one hand and closing the knife safely requires two hands. When the knife is open it seems strong enough to hold up to occasional use but I notice some flex when I hold the blade in one hand and the handle with the other and apply a gentle stress.
All told, for under $40 this is a great buy!.

Very sharp and sturdy. The size and heft give me confidence that I can break a car window if I ever needed to. Other reviews say this is one of the few seat belt cutters that really work. I hope I never need to try it. Fits great in the hand and the blade is very sharp. Looks good and looks like the high quality you expect from SOG.

My husband loves this knife, and before ordering it he did tons of research. Now, from personal experience, his review is the same as others: the clip sucks. Everything else is wonderful but the amount of times the clip bends and gets caught on things is frustrating. He would not purchase it again.

Great knife. I really enjoy how easy it is to open with one hand. Blade was durable and sharp upon arrival and i enjoy the way it fits in my hand. The weight is good and overall a really good knife. I gave it four stars because the only thing that is wrong or may be wrong is i am afraid the glassbreaker might break or tear my pants if i have it in my pocket. Easy way to counteract this would be to clip it onto your pocket but still would be nice to have a way to retract it i dont know might be me. Overall a great knife.

I choose this knife over the smith and wesson border guard and I am very pleased with my decision. Unlike other "rescue/escape" knives, the seatbelt cutter and glass breaker actually work. The knife is very sharp and seems to hold an edge pretty well. But one thing I noticed is it is rather difficult to open with one hand but I would rather have it take a little extra effort to open than have it take no effort to open and it also makes the knife a little safer too especially if you will be using it for everyday carry and don't want to have the blade pop open and stab you. Overall the knife feels heavy duty, has a good for and feels in the hand, holds and edge well, seatbelt cutter/glass breaker work, pocket clip feels strong.
