I love the Palouse brand of wheat berries, and this bag of soft white berries is no exception. Like other products from this producer, the wheat berries taste fresh, whether cooked as is or ground into low-gluten flour. The burlap bag contains a non-resealable plastic bag. I find that I had to transfer the wheat berries to a different container after opening to not only keep them fresh but also to keep them from spilling all over my pantry -- a small price to pay for an excellent product.
