It's okay...
Mrs. B•May 1, 2017
Best price around for a natural dish soap. I wish other companies sold theirs in large sizes like this gallon. The suds are mediocre...I've had worse (i.e. zero suds) but definitely had better suds and grease cutting ability with Seventh Generation or Melaluca. I'm just too cheap to buy those other kinds and this works just fine. I just add an extra squirt onto my pan or dish and it gets squeaky clean. I liked that this variety didn't have sodium laurel sulfate that SG has although I found a good quote on that from SG:
"Hi my name is Jan and I am on the Customer Care Team here at Seventh Generation. Thanks for asking about the SLS we use in our products. We use a plant-based sodium lauryl sulfate, made from coconut or palm oil. It's almost identical to the sodium coco sulfate other natural companies use. We do not use petroleum based ethoxylated surfactants or SLES and are therefore 1,4 dioxane (carcinogen) free, which is why you hear concerns about SLS or SLES. Plant-based SLS has a superior environmental profile as its renewable carbon index is 100%, it is biodegradable, and does not bioaccumulate in aquatic or terrestrial wildlife. We hope this information helps you make informed purchasing decisions!"
For now I'm sticking with this because I got 4 gallons for $44 but if the price goes up I'd do some comparing and see if the cost was relative to using more soap in the long run!

Nearly $20 Price Increase??
lo•December 5, 2016
Woah, why the nearly $20 price increase?? I used to by this in bulk at a very good price and now I am forced to move on to something else because of the huge price increase, perhaps 7th generation. I am so disappointed. I loved this stuff.
Awesome dish soap and chemical free!
Nick Lewandowski•September 30, 2016
We started using Earth Friendly Dishmate awhile ago and we love it. I love the fact that it is safe from harmful chemicals. I used to buy the cheap kind of dish soap and my daughter would always get a rash from washing the dishes. Since I started buying this which is chemical free her rash has completely disappeared! I like that it is a larger size so that I can refill my original smaller bottles. I like the larger bottles because it seemed like I was always buying more Dishmate and because these are in a larger bottle, I don't need to continuously go out to buy more dishmate. I would recommend this to others and will always make sure that I have it in stock.
Great price

Great price if you have room to store the jugs. We like liquid handsoap in the bathrooms but we don't use products with sulfates. This is a great product. We use it in all our bathroom soap dispensers as well as the kitchen. The pear smells divine!
