This product works great with both the Wilton tips and other brands of tips. It is a great organizer and holds a lot of standard-size tips. If I could give a suggestion, it would be that they make an organizer that holds both the standard sizes and the large sizes. I could not find anything like that anywhere.

So I have recently accumulated a lot more decorating tools as I've expanded into cookie and cake decorating lately. My drawer in my cabinet doesn't fit everything anymore. I already own the 55 pc wilton tips set, so those tips, plus a few ateco ones stay in there. But I have recently gotten into buying PME tips and unfortunately, most of them are too tall for the tip area (which is the main reason I wanted to have secondary storage geared towards the sugar arts and not just a tackle box. I still think this is a great tool box, I just find all of the wilton tip boxes to be too short to be versatile for any other popular brands. But I like the bottom compartments for my flower nails, fondant tools and accessories. This does the job...but a little more thought should be put into these as most people putting a lot of effort into their cookie/cake decorating will not be using ONLY wilton tips. I bought the tip case from Ateco to accommodate the larger tips I own. I think if Wilton thought up some new changes on their tip cases (and one to house the large tips too), they'd clean up in that market, as the ateco case is a hard, brittle plastic. The material of Wilton's is way nicer.

I hadn't realized how many tips I already had until I started filling this up. Then I realized I really needed something significantly larger. And I'm only starting. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars, though, is because when I open it to take out the tips, they're almost always tipped some or they pop out as I open it. It might be me, so I don't want to penalize them. But I would just think that things would be more stable within the container as that's the purpose of it, to keep them so I can see them when I open it up and need to use the tips.
