My daughter bought this in the hopes of making her own boba. Unfortunately, she couldn't get it to turn out right after 3 or 4 attempts, but that doesn't mean it was because of the product. She needs to do more experimenting! Seemed ok!

I haven't had a chance to try out my tapioca starch, but it was well packed, looks good, and was sent quickly. Owners reached out to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Nice small business to purchase from.
The Real Deal. Starch not Flour

There are subtle differences between tapioca flour and tapioca starch, But they make all the difference in the world when it comes to making authentic bubble or Boba Tea as its called in Thai recipes. It is perfectly ground and made the best brown sugar bubble I've tea ever had The pearls were perfectly clear with no coarseness or grit.
I simply mixed 1/3c brown sugar with 1/4c water, and 3 Tbs. Of Tapioca starch. Microwave on high for about 50 sec to a minute, then start to knead in more tapioca starch a few Tbs. at a time till its not sticky, and thick as bread dough. If you have a pasta maker it'll save you time, but if not toll it into several 1/4" stands and cut them small enough to roll into large Pea sized balls and roll them in more tapioca starch. Either dry in the fridge and store in the freezer for later, or boil for 20-30 minutes until They're clear. Strain and use with your favorite syrup in beverages.
