Not ideal for a Beta

Purchased for my nephews Beta the beta doesn't seem to like the bubbles hides behind the filter. Turned the bubbles off he's much more active in the tank. Probably better suited for goldfish and such.

If you're looking for more than a basic tank for your Beta fish, etc. That settle with this one. The filter works very well. His water is lasting about 3x longer without need to replace it with fresh water. The pump is extremely quiet. The air hoses are a little bulky, hard to hide, and hard to organize. But if you're crafty you'll find a way to tuck then in. The light is beautiful, and it draws the cats attention lol. Seriously it's a great tank kit.

Great first tank for my kids. Its small enough to change out the water every week and the fish seem happy with the bubbles etc. You will have to buy all tank accessories separate (gravel, plants) Perhaps an added perk to the tank would be some kind of bracket, that was held by the weight of the tank, that could hold the pump and valves up higher than the tank, since they recommend you do so.
Don't buy unless you want everything that is advertised with it

I open up the box and the tank is cracked on the bottom it is missing a lot of Ideams like the clip for the filter, the bubbling Lrf air stone. The filter cartridge, the air pump. The 6ft airline tubing and the airline connector. I am surprised this got a sticker saying it was inspected. This was my first time buying a tank on amazon and I have to say this will be the last time. I am going to go back to Chewy to buy a tank. I am out of words to describe how upset I am

I'm giving this product three stars because the bubbler system on here makes it very hard to get the filter right and make sure there are bubbles. I always have the issue of to strong of bubbles and no filter or barely either for both. I can't use the lid since I'm using a heater. Also, the lights have already started to take a crap on me and it's only about 2 months in. It's a good starting tank, but not a forever home.
