In other reviews people said it was difficult to install these lids. Not so for me. Remove the screwed on top from the part that seats on the bucket. Use a mallet or heavy hammer and start one edge by tapping it firmly into place. When you feel it seat, work your way around tapping as you go. The lid goes on firmly and tight and easily. Love this item "¦ I bought two .. so far. Five stars. I use one for dog food and one for bagged dog poop. The gasket really works to keep the odor contained.

These fit great on a light blue food grade bucket I got from Walmart. These also fit great on the white food grade buckets from Family Farm and Home. I don't know how people are struggling getting these on. They snapped right on for me. Y'all must be weak.
