Nutritious for a packaged food

I love this flavor and so do my kids. I also love that it's much lower in sugar (5g per bar) than other KIND bars and has 6 grams of protein. I appreciate that I recognize almost all the ingredients as actual whole foods. I wish I could say that it was all the ingredients (it contains soy lecithin and glucose syrup) but It's certainly a lot healthier than the regular bars you find in the grocery store.
The Amazon price is very good, especially if you do Subscribe and Save. The full price at my local Stop and Shop is $19.29 vs $15.47 on Amazon or $14.20 for Subscribe and Save. That's approximately a 30% savings!

A protein packed snack that tastes GREAT!

These are a fantastic snack/pick me up that has the taste/flavor profile of candy bar without all the junk/guilt associated candy. Packed with nuts (protein), some salt and dark chocolate these are my go to items for my bag when I think I may need a mid afternoon pick-me-up. While KIND offers a few different flavors, this Dark Chocolate is hands down our family favorite. If you find yourself crashing or "Hangry" this portable snack can pull you back from the brink without a crash like you'd expect from a "candy" bar. Also, great for active kids that may need a something during or after practice. This is a new staple at our house and we're very happy to have found it!
KIND bars are literally the best bars around. PERIOD

As someone who never liked nut bars, or protein bars, or candy or chocolate bars, I have to say that these are amazing. I was introduced to KIND bars by a friend of mine, and I was extremely reluctant to try them. But I have to say, KIND bars are in a category all its own, these are not your typical bars. Kind bars are literally perfection, and it will even make those who don't like this type of food a believer. Like my 3 year old daughter, who started eating these at the age of 2, and absolutely loves all KIND bars, but does not eat any other bars including chocolate bars or cereal bars. And, as someone who is a health freak (sometimes), these bars taste healthier. They taste like real food.
Tastes amazing!

I love KIND bars, there are a huge variety of flavours and this is my favorite. I personally use it as a meal replacement and take it along with a Natural Appetite Suppressant(extracted from a fruit). I personally love the taste of dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is an anti-oxidant and provides a variety of health benefits. The bar is very low in sugar so its an ideal meal replacement. It has a good amount of fiber and will help keep your digestive system healthy! The chocolate is smooth and the sweet/saltiness are perfectly balanced. The texture is very crunchy and the flavour releases quickly. I have them as a snack or replace my morning meal. Its a perfect natural snack bar.
high in fat, but it's mostly the healthy kind, and balanced with some protein

First off, wanted to list the ingredients because I noticed there was an error in the product listing -- these DO contain dairy.
Mixed nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts), chicory root fiber, honey, palm kernel oil, sugar, crisp rice, cocoa powder, non GMO glucose, sea salt, soy lecithin, milk powder, vanilla extract
So they're gluten free but not vegan, and they contain nuts and soy ingredients.
On to a discussion of the product. These taste great and contain a lot of nutrition. I've recently become a fan of the trend of adding sea salt to sweet things (caramels, etc.) and it definitely works here. However, the sodium is not too high, at 125 mg (and there's 210 mg of potassium to balance it out). These have 200 calories, 140 of which are from fat, so pay attention to that. However, they're low in sugar, have 7 g of fiber, and have 6g of protein.
On balance, these are not bad for you! Plus, the dark chocolate will provide a little bit of an antioxidant boost. Paired with a piece of fruit, these would make a decent breakfast if you're in a hurry. The mix of protein and sugar should provide a couple of hours' worth of energy, as well.
