Very Pretty!
Abbey✓ Verified Purchase•December 3, 2016
I'm writing this from your average teenage girl's perspective. I'm not much of an activity, or even a outdoorsy kind of person, so buying any kind of 'weapon' or knife would be practically pointless for me. It's true, although I do enjoy the look of knives, even without having any knowledge to actually use it for defense or survival.
This knife is eye candy (perfect for my jumbled collection of various knives), and even without background knowledge on specific functions of this type of knife, I can tell you it does seem very good for the price. As I said, it's very pretty (to me). You'd expect it to be a flimsy and dull knife for the price, but no. It's got a good weight to it, it's sturdy, and it is very sharp!
I know my review may be useless given the fact I purely bought this for the looks, but I thought I might as well share my experience anyway. :)

Great knife, slightly awkward grip

Great knife and A plus for the price point. I'm very happy that most knives, including this one come with a blade, and a glass breaker. I could do with or without the bottle opener but I agree with other reviewers that it is pretty unfortunate that the blade needs to be open to use it. I don't drink and am very careful usually but few can not agree when I say that holding an open knife with the blade pointed at my stomach while fussing with a bottle isn't a little awkward.
The knife is really well made though and I haven't yet come in contact with the loose screw issue a minority of reviewers have complained about. It looks good open and closed and has a heft to it I like. I wish it could deploy faster but its safe because it doesn't sprig out of the handle; I would recommend using both hands to ease the blade out. I could also do without the belt clip but its not a huge deal. My biggest gripe is the hold. The knife is made of sleek steel and unless you have a firm grip it can be a touch slippery. Not in that way that you have to be any worried about dropping it, because the shape of the handle fits in the hand pretty well, but its something you notice on the down-low. If you like stabbing things, its not like it will slide in your fist.
I am an EMT and I have used this knife once in a situation off the job when I didn't have trauma shears on me to cut through a sweater to expose a GSW, and the knife worked wonderfully. Here's hoping others can use this great knife to to help make their lives easier.

I have never owned a pocket knife in my life, but after binging LNM on Reddit for awhile, I thought it time I took my safety seriously. So I got this knife with the Prime membership & boy am I obsessed with it. The blade is legitimately super sharp and means business. I love the rainbow, it looks incredible when it hits light just right. I got down the one-hand open / close in about 5 minutes, it does open and close fast like the description stated. The bottle opener / screwdriver or glass breaker is such a nice perk to it. I hope I never have to use it to defend myself but if I do, I know I am in good hands with this product. Will recommend to others!!!
