Very comfortable...decent propulsion. The foot pocket is very comfortable negatives are the durablilty. I shoot surf photos with these fins and they have some serious chunks missing from scraping them along the reef. I guess that's the trade off for the comfort of the silicone. I would prefer to have the same design in a more rugged rubber like that used for Da fins. If your gonna use them over sand or just for swimming you should fine.

I live in Arizona and only get to the beach maybe once or twice a year so I really can't say much about performance except that the Tech 2's worked great for me. Good acceleration helped me catch plenty of waves. My main concern was comfort and these fans delivered 100%! I used Churchill Makapuus last year and after my first session I had sores on my toes and ankle bones from the hard rubber. Also they retained sand so badly that after a painful paddle out past the break, I had to completely remove the fins to clear them out. I had NONE of that with the silicone Tech 2's. No blisters or sores and all the sand and pebbles were completely gone within a few kicks. On a typical day I spend between 4 to 6 hours in the water and this year it was nothing but pain free fun. THANKS Tech 2! This is a great product, well worth the price for anyone needing a comfortable fin!

These are the first flippers that I've ever owned so I can't really compare them to anything. All can say is that I get very good propulsion these as well as a very good leg workout

I was looking for the original (full foot, rubber) Hydro Tech fins when I found these. My original pair served me well, but the rubber started cracking and perished from age (and chlorine). These appear to be manufactured from a higher quality synthetic product and offers a more advanced design. In short, I love them! I still miss the full foot, especially for ocean swimming. However, my new pair are super comfortable and I really don't miss my old pair at all. No regrets buying these.

Best swim find on the market for larger, wider feet. Love tge color and tge channels on the side. Buy some finleashes because these don't float. I see very fee few people in Hawaii with these and the white/green color scheme gets a lot of compliments. In my opinion the material and fit are better than Churchill's and Vipers.
