more difficult to build than i expected.. Working on it bit by bit. Should look OK when done- I would not recommend it to anyone without some significant model building experience.. I've done over 20 and this is likely the most difficult
Excellent Detail and Fit

This is probably the best Avenger in 1/48 you'll find. Based on the Accurate Miniatures molds, it has excellent detail and fits together nicely. The clear parts are very nice and there are several fit options (US vs UK, bombs, rockets, etc).
I recommend pairing this with a resin pilot chair for more detail, but perhaps the most critical third-party item you'll want is the E-Z Mask for the canopy. The Avenger had a huge birdcage canopy and the masking could take seemingly forever. I got the E-Z Mask kit for this model and it was such a breeze, while the outcome looked fantastic. You'll definitely thank yourself for the masks on this model.

This kit is nicely detailed. I have just a few negatives. The worst issue with the kit is that the instructions are terrible. You can expect to spend a lot of time trying to figure out the correct locations and orientation before gluing things. That has been frustrating. The lessor of the two problems is that there are some fit issues and even some serious sink marks on the wings. Some basic modeling skills can fix those issues though.

hi i've built the plane was easier than i thought no glue all over the place,prop turns ball turret moves{although i used a revel ball turret,sorry} just 1 question why' did'nt academy put a torpedo with the kit {it is a torpedo bomber after all}?
