Beautiful looking. Great sounding. The setup on mine was very good, with strings close to the finger board. Has a black pick guard.
A lot for the money. What dramatically brought this guitar to life for me, was putting new strings on it. I put Ernie Ball extra light (10 to 50)
"Earthwood" silk and steel extra soft strings on it. Totally changed the sound of of it to a sparkling resonant great sounding guitar.

Got it on the day it said it be here. What a sound this guitar is pure quality im so blown away by its sound.the tone is wounderful the build quality is beautiful and the action is good.would replace the stings ( a lot of reviews said the same thing ) wich i already knew i was going to do when i got the guitar. I would highly recomend this guitar even at a pro level considering it plays better than a fender !

Purchased to use on a five week asignment away from home. Really pleased with the guitar. Plays well considering the price and surprising attention to detail in the build. Unusual and quirky looking. Was planning on using it for the 5 week asignment and giving it away at the end to a good cause. Not any more. Going to pay for a hard case and ship it home to add to my collection. My wife will be delighted!

I was totally and utterly amazed!! Guitar arrived 5 days sooner than promised..it was in pristine condition.. took me about 3 minutes to get first tuning accomplished. Used the Snark tuner. which is also amazing and worth every dollar. The sound quality surpassed my expectations by a hundred-fold. The strings are in very close proximity to the fret board, neck width is 1.75 inch (very narrow) which in total make it a complete joy to play. The OS2SM is the third guitar I own (Fender Mustang circa 1964 - Fender 12 string circa 1970) and by far the best of all. This instrument could easily sell for $500+ without a problem.. It stays in tune during the brake-in period, and needs only slight tweeks to accomplish total harmonic perfection. I am going to recommend this instrument to my guitar students. FANTASTIC instrument !!

Very nice tone. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this guitar. Despite what the ad says; the sides and back are not Mahogany (which would have made this thing invincible) but catalpa which is somewhat fragile and subject to drying out, so make sure you keep a humidifier in it when you are storing it, or the weather is dry.

The tone is nice and definitive with authoritative lows and crisp highs. Good value. The action is pretty high on mine, but I am going to leave it that way for now because I am using it to build dexterity for when I play my strat...
