I am sensitive to metal, so these arm bands work really well for me. I even have 3 colors now so I can co-ordinate them with most of my shirts, more or less. :-)
Most people don't even seem to notice them. A new doctor of mine did ask me about it the other day - he got points for that. Hopefully if I am ever in an emergency situation it will be noticed.

I bought this for my 11 year old son who has a serious heart condition. I wanted him to be able to wear it all the time especially during the summer doing different activities. The look is good for a boy and not to obvious or "not cool" but I'm disappointed the most important part which is the information is not in a waterproof area. He has to take it off when in the pool or beach which kinda defeats the purpose. I covered the info card with clear packing tape on both sides which somewhat works.
Rather durable, just don't take it on and off ...

Rather durable, just don't take it on and off alot. Otherwise the velcro strarts to pull away and tear. Lasted me a couple years with out any problems.

My son has sever allergies; carries an epipen and wears a medical bracelet. This one is very stiff and the mouth of the pocket on the inside is so small and barely noticeable. I had to search, squeeze, and mess with the pocket to get it open. I cannot image it being useful in a true emergency.
The company would not allow us to return the item. It remains an unused piece of junk in one of our drawers. We bought another bracelet from another company and am extremely happy with it (the new one is much cooler looking, too).

Ordered this because my husband is a commercial electrician and doesn't need to wear metal, if possible. He's a lanky guy, and the teen fit without having extra hanging off. Seems pretty durable and was a really great price. Glad we had the extra paper info sheet, because we had to put additional info.
