Had originally installed a call-screener which was supposed to allow pre-programmed accepted 'white list' calls and block unaccepted 'black list' calls. Unfortunately, ALL my calls were being BLOCKED!! :-0 Returned that dud screener and got this answering machine which answers at 2 rings, states a warning for telemarketers and solicitors to hang-up, remove my number from their call list and told all other callers to simply leave their name, number and a brief message so we may return their call asap! I can immediately tell if it's a robo-call/telemkt/solicitor call because most will hang-up without leaving a message! They try 4 to 6 times daily from 8:35a to 8:59p! #annoying! The phone still rings but I don't have to answer nor miss important callers! Does the job, I recommend this item!
