I replaced my 5 years old broken unit that came with the Aprilaire 400 with this unit. I am not sure what model# my old unit was, but it looks very similar, but without the Blower Activation(BA) switch. Also, I had Manual mode and not ODT. In the old unit, the previous installer needed to jump the ODT terminals, and hanged a Manual Mode tag on the unit. With the #60, there is an internal Manual mode switch, and no jumper is needed. I configured the 60 with the BA switch to off during the replacement, meaning that the humidifier will switch on if and on if my HVAC is calling for heat. When I performed Test/Reset, the humidifier did not turn on. It took me some time to figure out that the Test/Reset function will only turn on the humidifier when the BA switch is set to ON position. In any case, the unit appears to be functional.

Works as designed. I hooked up the temperature sensor. Used the diagram for the almond housing aprilaire 760 model. Humidity levels have gone up since installation after setting at 4.

Works well with my Aprilaire humidifier and easy to install and read what the actual humidity is in the cold air return. You can make tiny adjustments to raise or lower humidity in the home. Once set just leave it alone.
