We purchased this for our guest room. The room was an addition (before we bought the house) and had an old electric baseboard heater. We tore that out when we re-did the room and added this. It works really well and looks so much nicer. The room is 10x12 and this keeps it nice and toasty.

Love the amount of heat it gives off. We are using it near our towels and it is working out well. The installation was a bit hectic. The template they give you, the holes were crooked. Luckily we made sure the template was the same as the heater before drilling any holes. Then one of the pegs did not fit into the hole on the unit and my husband had to whittle it down to fit. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5. Had there been some Quality Assurance done, it would have gotten a 5! Since we were warned about an odor, we plugged it in outdoors for a few hours prior to hanging it and the odor has not been an issue.

Smells so bad when it is on that it is unusable. bought this for a project I was working on. Put it on the wall last week and turned it on. It smelled up the entire house. Tried a second time to turn it on and it stunk up the house again. Had to open the windows. As other people have said it has a bad odor when it is on and we can smell it even when its off. Do not buy this heater. There is still old stock on the shelves and is being sold as a usable product.

This is the most stinky heater I have had the misfortune of buying. I would give it a minus 5 stars if I could. The stench permates at least a day even after removal. We couldn't stand the smell in the house upon initial start-up, so I moved it to the shop to run there for an additional two full days. Brought back inside and after running there for four hours removed the heater and the mounting bolts and reinstalled in the chicken coop since they don't care about the smell. I recommend buying something else unless you are smell blind!

Almost didn't buy this heater due to reviews. I own 4 eco brand heaters like this but needed one with smaller dimensions. Came across this unit. Size was perfect for my application. So for the reviews that almost drive me away. There has been no smell like I have read about. Heats up about the same time frame as my bigger eco heaters. Chord does not get really hot like mentioned. And for only 250 this thing gets just about as hot as my bigger eco heaters. Definitely going to paint this heater as it's being used in a bathroom, just trying to keep all moisture from touching the face of the greater, moisture such as the steam from the shower. I do like the wall mounting setup better than the eco heaters. So far so good. Hearts up the bathroom and keeps the chill out of the air. Works as I personally expected it to.
