My "shelter rescue dog" is Sooo Precious. Sadly he had been abused. Getting his toenails trimmed is a form of torture from his reaction to the experience. Found a wonderful place and the gentleman groomer tenderly slipped this tiny soft muzzle on him and had his nails trimmed in less than five minutes. It seemed to comfort out little 10lb guy; he relaxed immediately. It's the only time we use the muzzle. Wonderful for both the dog and the humans.

I am giving this product 5 stars It shipped very fast nothing was wrong with it my dog does not like muzzles he jumps around like a bucking bull but with this product he was very curious about it he let me put it on and he liked it not one problem besides the problem that was my fault I bought a medium because that's usually the size I buy but with this product I have to buy an extra large so I am doing that now if you need a good muzzle seriously this is one to get... Just up the size a little bit

I guess these would work for dogs with noses ok because there would be something for it to go over but it didn't work very well for my baby since she has a very small nose. It kept sliding off. It did do one thing though. At first she was so stunned by it that she just stood mute and we were able to get one foot of nails trimmed before she figured out she could swipe it off with her paw. After that the threat of putting it back on her was enough to keep her a little tamer than usual. Of course by the 4th paw the gig was up and I was having to hold her down like a sumo wrestler! I don't understand what the big deal is about trimming their paws. You never heard so much caterwauling over getting nails trimmed. I just dread it when it's that time!

Works well on my 7 lb poodle to keep him from licking his feet. Only problem is that he can't eat or drink with it on, so obviously we have to watch him closely and take it off regularly. He can also get it off if he tries hard enough.

Best thing I have found after going through several products to keep my dog from irritating her hot spot until it healed. Strap is simple but she couldnt it it off!! Thank you! Got a size L for my lab that has a narrow, long beak.
