We bought two Brew Buddy single serve mesh filters to try out before considering them as gifts for the coffee drinkers in our life. After using them we have some thoughts:
Overall we like them, a lot!
These little gems have worked like a dream! The grinds dump right out of them cleanly; there are a few grinds left, but let's be honest, that is the nature of the beast! The Brew Buddy sclean right up with some hot water and detergent. There are no open seams for grinds to get caught in and the dark color of the mesh keeps it from getting that dingy look white mesh tends to get from repeated exposure to coffee.
We have not used a lot of flavored coffee in the Brew Buddy, we just don't roll that way, but the mesh hasn't held a coffee aroma at all.
We have tried other pour over style coffee setups and they have been decent. But, some of them have (or should I say, had) white mesh and it has taken on a rather stained appearance over time. And some are hard to use with a mega-sized mug. Or they involve a "hard" filter, or a carafe of some sort, or both. All of which can make traveling with them a bit daunting or just not possible. (You know the result of that, right? You're stuck with either a really pricey coffee of whatever passes for coffee where you are, neither of which is ideal!)
The way the plastic on the Brew Buddy (AKA little mesh basket of caffeine handiness) is shaped keeps steam dripping back into the cup and not rising out of the sides of the filter to prematurely cool your brew. That is so nice, because, you know, some days you just don't get to brew and consume. Some days life intervenes. With the Brew Buddy you can buy a few more minutes of nice hot coffee without a reheat (it's never as good that way) or suffering the lukewarm coffee experience.
The Brew Buddy also stores pretty flat so it's easy to transport. I would suggest a plastic zip top bag to carry it in. You can count on a great coffee experience pretty much anywhere with these. Just pack some of your favorite ground bean or tea (it works marvelously for loose tea, too!!!) in a travel container, along with the Brew Buddy and you're all set to meet adventure with properly caffeinated confidence!
The diameter of the Brew Buddy allows it to be used on just about any diameter mug, you would have to have and extraordinarily wide mug for these not to work for you.It's perfect for just about any size mug, short, tall, wide or narrow. Your coffee pleasure shouldn't be limited by the mug you're handed, no matter where you're imbibing!
I think the coffee drinkers on our gift list will be finding one of these in their presents!

I found these after an extensive trip. I have only used once but they work great.

I Liked this product, I will use for travel when I went to bring my own coffee And don't want to haul around my Keurig. 😋 The process is easy and It works fine. Not sure it would do well for someone who likes very strong coffee (unless they let it steep). It is Flat, easy to pack. Easy to clean, best if you just let the coffee grinds dry before emptying!
The only drawback - of the two pack that I brought, One had tiny holes at the bottom. This allowed the dredges of my coffee to fall into the cup. For the price, I'm not upset but will only use one.

I've had my two Primula Brew Buddies for three weeks and use them every day, sometimes more than once a day, I LOVE them! The coffee produced from using the Brew Buddies is delicious, just as good as the coffee made from my French Press. I know exactly how much water my favorite coffee mug uses and pouring hot water into the Primula Brew Buddy is a breeze. It takes about a minute to pour the water over the coffee grounds and any spill-over on my part drips down the sloping side right into my cup! The Primula Brew Buddies are well made, no threads hanging off, and they rest over the many different size coffee/latte mugs I own. Clean up is easy and I like that the mesh basket does not show coffee stains. I was unsure about ordering the two-pack, but I am happy I did.

I've used several different coffee makers including a Keurig. I've purchased and used several other "Pour Over" coffee devices, and my last coffee maker was a beautiful stainless steel French Press. The Primula Brew Buddies make delicious coffee, are easy to use, and clean up quickly. They are now my all time favorite method to use for making coffee.

I don't drink coffee, so I don't have a coffee maker in my home. My mom sometimes stays overnights for visits, and is a coffee drinker, so I have a French press for her. However, I bought a single cup press and she drinks two cups in the morning (when I bought it, I asked how many cups so I could buy the correct size and she told me to buy the single- lol). She complained that it was a pain in the butt for two cups. I ended up buying these so she could just do a pour over style cup of coffee and she really likes these. Said it was much easier for both making her coffee and cleaning up. And, they take up less space for storage!
