I have an XL head and sometimes things just don't fit. This is one such item. It is too small for my wife as well, and her head is much smaller. The fabric isn't very stretchy. And it mashes my chin and nose. There's no comfortable way to wear an item that just doesn't fit you. At less than $4, it is too inexpensive to bother with a return/refund. Maybe I'll find a child with a cold head to donate it to.

Hides you in snow, sorta. When I showed up looking like the 1980's version of GI Joe's Stormshadow (this and some white sweats because those were the times), all the other henchmen were skeptical. I think some even sniggered and joked in the corner. Fast forward a few months, and I'm practically my own villain, soon to have henchmen. Who's laughing now?

I would describe this as a light weight head cover. I purchased it for its camouflage effect and was happy to discover that it's not bulky nor is it too warm when skiing or snowshoeing. It's enough to block most of the wind while allowing some cooling effect. It's well made and a good value for the price.

If I could find mine, I'd still wear it. I loved this thing so much when I worked for the local police department here in Wisconsin. For any officers with rather large heads; unlike some other balaclavas this does not seem to impede my peripheral vision at all. Highly recommend, would buy again if I cannot find mine. I love that the part covering your mouth can be easily flipped down if your subject needs to see your mouth to understand you (perhaps they are hard of hearing or have some similar disability, Etc.).

A nice, cheap balaclava. It is a little on the small side, though I do have a larger than average head. It fits better with your nose exposed, only covering your mouth, otherwise it is too tight and gets into your eyes. The biggest improvement I think they could make would be to extend the neck. It is a little short, and not really long enough to tuck into a shirt or coat. Still nicely constructed, especially for the price, and quite comfortable. It was better than I was expecting.
