This did not have the best reviews, but I ordered it because my 4 year old really wanted it. It is pretty terrible. It requires batteries, but only for the loud voices and sounds it makes. All of the action is done by hand. The truck has yet to make the jump at the end without just falling over. You really need additional track to make this do anything. This is a very disappointing toy that my son quickly lost interest in.

This is cute, but didn't hold up very long. For the record it was only $12 when I purchased it 4 years ago, not sure why its more than tripled in price.

My kid loves it, when it works. He is only 2 years old and he knocks it down a lot and the track comes apart. Also, sometimes the cars don't make it down the track...they get stuck midway. I make adjustments to the track and refasten the all the connections and it works for a short time....then the connections come apart and I have to fix it again. After awhile the cars got stuck in the middle of the track more and more frequently.
