Sorry but I need to do this This is a good quality coconut oil, but I can't stand the inconsistent pricing. I'm on subscribe and save if I don't keep checking I will end up getting ripped off unknowingly. One month it's $14 to $15 then the next time it goes up to $30!!! You can buy this oil for approximately $15 range at Vitacost,com, Walmart.com, Jet.com, even Carrington Farms direct sell this for $19. Just thought you should know because this is so unethical.

This is an excellent coconut oil. However, recently the price has been all over the place. This is a quick way to lose a loyal buyer.

I've been purchasing this coconut oil regularly for a couple years and I have never seen it go up and down like this.

I just bought this in February and it was around $16. It used to be even cheaper. Now it is $21.84 and recently it was $28.

This kind of pricing practice is heinous. I'm not trying to buy stock on the coconut market. I just want a good and pure jar of coconut oil at a reasonable price that I can rely on, please.

I have used this brand of oil faithfully for at least 2 years and I LOVE it. That's the only reason I'm not choosing 1 star. The oil itself is 5 stars. I've never had problems with it being rancid, leaking, or refusing to solidify, as other reviewers have stated. I live in central Arizona and we joke that this bottle of coconut oil is our real thermostat. Forget the groundhog: winter is officially over once the coconut oil stays liquid inside at all times. Temperatures will fluctuate and this oil will solidify as it cools again, then liquefy again as temperatures rise (as they inevitably do here). Taste, texture, everything, has been spot on and top quality for all of this time.

I'm upset because of the price fluctuations. And I mean serious price fluctuations, and not over time. I ordered a coconut oil in February 2017 that was $16, then got on here on the 21st of March to see the price was suddenly $27. (I've seen it rise and fall over the years, but never so much.) I posted a question asking if anyone knew why the price hike was so severe, then came back a few days later (on the 24th) to see that it was back down to $19. I ordered even though I didn't like paying that much and I'm glad I did. A friend just asked me which coconut oil I use (because I've raved about it repeatedly) and I came back on here today (27th of March) to get a link to send to her only to see that the price is now up to $28. I mean, really?

So I told her to watch it. Maybe the price will go back down in the next few days. This whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth, though, and I will probably end up switching to this oil by Island Fresh. It's only virgin and not extra virgin, but other than that, I can't see anything wrong with it. And at least the price is right. (For now.)

I have purchased at least 2 (54 oz) jars a month for the past couple years and every time the price has been right around 15-16 dollars and as low as 12. I understand that price can increase based on various issues however there is no rational explanation for a 10 dollar increase. This has been a great product but I will no longer be buying it. it the similar mentality that will have you paying for ketchup and straws at local fast food places. Let's make all we can on every customer, not let's encourage our customers to continue use of our products by keeping the price lower.
