Very difficult to fold up!! You have to pull way too hard to separate before folding. Could be dangerous hitting someone or something when it suddenly separates and, you have to repeat that process 4 times!!! Also, the cane slipped our from under me once during my 1st use. Also, the emblem fell off on 1st use leaving an ugly hole. Also, the picture shows a strap to hold it folded. I did not get that strap. Otherwise it's all good.

Yes! Now need a cane and not dealing with it well. That said, this brand is wonderful! Beautiful, opens automatically, comes with a band and a bag for closing and storing, and is so far, in hand, comfortable. May need to add padding of some sort, but will deal with that later. Best of all, I can reach with it when I've left something too far from my chair. :D

I bought a stable, four legged tip Secure Self Standing Quad Support Cane Tip, Black - Fits 3/4 inch to 7/8 inch Walking Stick Shaft that fits perfectly, and I'm good to go.

I also bought this model HurryCane Freedom Edition Folding Cane with T Handle, Original Black to compare the two. As soon as I realized that they were essentially the same (foot doesn't pivot on folding model), it was wobbly while standing by my chair, and that it didn't come with a pouch, I knew it had to go back.

I hate that I now need a cane, but at least this beauty makes it an easier pill to swallow. Lovely cane and extremely well appointed. Well done Switch Sticks. You helped change my sad and mad to feeling better about it and loving my cane.

I have been putting off getting a cane. I think it's because I really didn't want to admit that I needed one.
My hip is giving me problems for over several months now, was really hoping it would go away, but alas, it's has not improved.
I researched canes on Amazon, and found the Switch Sticks. I decided to go with the bubbles design.
The cane came and I reluctantly opened the package. The plastic type bag that comes with the cane, will hold it nicely, for carrying the folded up cane when not in use. The cane instantly unfolds and "snaps" into position, once you take it out of the bag, so be careful there isn't anyone around that can get hit with the cane. Point it downwards, definitely not upwards. The cane is solid, and I love the fun design and colors. It holds my weight very easily (I'm 5'2", and don't weigh tons), but when I'm in pain, trust me it's extreme, the cane easily holds my weight, and WOW! do I push down on the cane! I was worried about that, but it works great. The handle is easy to hold, nicely designed. If you are looking for a good solid cane, with plenty of colors and design options, you can't go wrong with the Switch Sticks Designer Folding Walking Stick.

I am very pleased and satisfied with this walking cane. I had been looking for a new one for some time but was unable to find one that was both functional and stylish. The Switch Sticks Folding Walking Cane fits rhe bill perfectly. It provides the stability that I need, and at the same time does not look like an ordinary walking stick. Being a female of a certain age I didnot want to admit that a cane was necessary. Fashionable canes, while pretty didn't provide proper support, and ones that provided the needed support didn't fit my definition of style. This folding cane is a fave of a friend who needs some support for her knees and hips. I got a good look at it and it has many features to make it useful.

It folds up compactly. It will fit in most women's purses (not those tiny crossbody type, but who our age carries anything less than a satchel around?)

These are very functional, since they fold. And like the old ebony walking sticks with silver ornate heads of Victorian times, they add some style to your step.
