Excellent meter. I have a 2900' run of @2 al urd direct burial cable. Something caused it to short and burn out. I tried the cheaper Fluke meter TS90, but it did not work. Called Fluke and talked to the engineer. He told me the TS90 would not work well with al wire or wires larger than number 6 {not what their add says }. I bought this meter, calibrated the wire type following directions, hooked it up to my 2 conductors and it told me my break was 442' away. Had my helper start digging and found the break at 447'. They claim +- 2% accuracy, more like 1%. This meter cost 3 time more than the fluke, but well worth it. I was without power for 3 weeks. If I had purchased this meter originally, it would have been a couple of days. Does what it claims.
